A swipe of lipstick and mascara and you're ready to take on the day! If a blemish appears on your top as you dash out the door, don't worry, mastering makeup stain removal is significantly easier and less time consuming than conquering the coveted cat-eye. Follow these steps for removing lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, gloss, and other dyed, wax-based makeup.
Kiss Stains Goodbye
Apply Stain Solution directly to the affected area. For a boost, sprinkle All-Purpose Bleach Alternative* directly onto the solution to create a powerful paste.
*All-Purpose Bleach Alternative cannot be used on silk or woolens
Work the solution into the fabric using your finger or the Stain Brush. For added cleaning power, put the affected area under the faucet and let the pressure of the water help work the stain. Use hot water for cotton fabrics and cool water for silk and woolens.
Give It a Soak
Create a bath of hot water and one capful All-Purpose Bleach Alternative* and fully submerge the item. Allow it to soak for at least 30 minutes or until satisfied.
*For silk and wool fabrics, skip the All-Purpose Bleach Alternative and use cool water.
Repeat steps 1-3 until the stain is no longer visible. Otherwise, launder as usual.
