How to Remove Ink Stains

Erasing Set-In Ink Stains is Difficult, but Can Be Done

Stains from ink or pen are some of the toughest to remove, especially if the ink has soaked into the material. Using effective, stain-removing products from The Laundress, you can succeed in returning your soiled clothing to like-new condition.

Stop Ink Stains in Their Tracks with Specialty Formulas That Clean & Remove Stains

Pen marks are one stain that benefits from quick action. First, make a paste from our Stain Solution and All-Purpose Bleach Alternative, and work the paste into the stain. Next, pour hot water from a height onto the stain and make a bath with the All-Purpose Bleach Alternative and hottest water appropriate for the material and soak for a half hour. If the ink stain is still present, repeat, making sure to work the paste into the fibers, either with a brush or your finger. Working from both sides of the garment can also help. Finally, once the stain is gone, wash the garment as usual with the appropriate detergent.

Removing ink stains can be challenging, especially if the ink has had a chance to set. But the right products from The Laundress and perseverance can save your garment from the garbage. You owe it to yourself to try!
