Frustrated with the lack of proper laundry solutions available to clean their clothing investments at home, two New York City fashion executives and Cornell Textile & Fiber Science alums founded The Laundress. Leaning into their expertise, cofounders Gwen Whiting and Lindsey Boyd created a collection of fabric care and “dry clean alternatives” for people who want the very best for their clothes.
