When the time comes to break out your furniture, make sure to have these essentials on deck. They’ll let you clean everything from mildew on chair cushions to dirt-caked chaise lounges and everything in between.
How To Spring Clean Outdoor Furniture & Upholstery
To Clean Cushions or Fabric
STEP 1: Brush off any loose mold, dirt, or residue from upholstery with the Scrub Brush.
STEP 2: Create a paste with Stain Solution and All-Purpose Bleach Alternative, then apply directly to any stained or moldy areas, and work in with Scrub Brush.
STEP 3: If the cushion has a removable cover, remove it and soak in a bath of warm water and Scented Vinegar for 30 minutes (use a bucket, large basin, or even your bath tub). This step will fight mold and mildew and eliminate any icky odor. For upholstery that cannot be removed, mix a few capfuls of Scented Vinegar with water, pour into a spray bottle, and spritz over the item for the same effect. Wipe clean with a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth and make sure all traces of mold and mildew are gone before allowing to air dry.
STEP 4:For removable covers: Once you see the mold and mildew stains lifting, machine wash the item with hot water and Signature Detergent, air dry, then replace.

To Clean Tables and Chairs (Wicker, Plastic, Wood, or Metal)
STEP 1: Apply Scented Vinegar to any dirt, mold, discoloration, or rust, then work into the furniture until it lifts.
STEP 2: Rinse off with your hose or a wet Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth.

To Clean Umbrellas (Including Sunbrellas)
STEP 1: Brush off any loose debris with Scrub Brush.
STEP 2: Treat stains with Stain Solution and work into fabric with the brush. For stubborn spots, add All-Purpose Bleach Alternative to the solution to create a paste. Allow to sit for 30 minutes, then rinse with a hose.
STEP 3: Add ¼ cup of All-Purpose Cleaning Concentrate to a gallon of warm water, then gently scrub. Remove soap with your hose.
STEP 4: To remove dirt or rust from the umbrella pole, apply Scented Vinegar and massage in with Scrub Brush. Rinse.
To Clean Outdoor Rugs
STEP 1: Remove any leaves or dirt by sweeping or giving it a good shake.
STEP 2: Spot treat stains with Stain Solution and the Scrub Brush. To remove mold, combine a few capfuls of Scented Vinegar with water and add to a spray bottle. Spritz over area, work in with brush, then allow to sink in for 30 minutes before washing clean with warm water.
STEP 3: To clean larger areas, scrub well with All-Purpose Cleaning Concentrate and rinse with a hose. Drape over a railing to dry in the sun, if possible.
