Great product!
"I use this on almost all my wool and cashmere sweaters, dresses and scarves. About to do a deep dive to make sure these treasured items stay fresh in the summer months. Follow their instructions. I use mesh bags for my sweaters— some of which are Talbot’s classic cashmere v necks I inherited from my mother. I washed a Brooks Brothers wool and silk lined dress and it came out beautifully. Also my classic BB cashmere cowel necked dress. The product is genius. All of these things would have been dipped in chemicals at a dry cleaner. I just need to find a good dry cleaner who will take care of my wool coats. Thank you to the creators of this product at The Launderess."

Great for your delicate fabrics
"I really like the cedar smell. I feel like it helps deter any insects from wanting to go near your wool or cashmere often times I’ll use this for a hole load when I’m washing my delicate stuff and bags with other cotton materials."

"Love love love this stuff. I have been using it for years and my cashmere sweaters are SO soft! I have a bunch of cashmere travel wraps and occasionally loan one to a house guest and they always ask the brand of the wrap. Not the wrap, it's the laundress that makes them so soft and comfortable. I think it is a healthier way to clean your clothes as well."

Performs well, but. . .
"So far, I've hand laundered three cashmere sweaters in the Wool & Cashmere Shampoo. The shampoo gave a gentle was and the sweaters felt soft afterwards. I'm glad I bought the measuring cup or I might have added too much. My only complaint - I expected a slight cedar smell to aid in warding off moths, but the shampoo does not smell like cedar (even though that's the scent I bought)."

I miss the old scent
"The older formula, which wasn’t clear but a bit occluded and creamy had a much more pleasant and pronounced scent that I very much prefer. I wish at least that the scent could be recreated if not the older formula."

Wool & Cashmere Shampoo
"Works great on our merino wool socks and Winter wool accessories (hats, gloves, scarves). Do wish the scent was a tad stronger, as it smells nice in the bottle but is very subtle & hardly noticeable on the cleaned items."
