The change in season brings newly inspired autumn-themed drinks, so we’ve rounded up some lovely libations that are sure to strike fall feels. Since Team Laundress has been known to practice Sober September, our list includes both boozy and detox beverages sure to please all parties.
Fall for These Festive Cocktails…
1. APPLE CIDER MOSCOW MULE
Gwen’s a big fan of Moscow Mules and according to her, it’s all about the quality of the Ginger Beer and the copper mugs. This recipe is a fun twist on the traditional drink for fall.
2. WARM CIDER & RUM PUNCH
This punch is a crowd pleaser on a cold day. Rum ravers can rejoice or leave out the alcohol for the virgin version to please all parties.
3. RED WINE SANGRIA
Lindsey thinks a classic Spanish-style Red Wine Sangria is good all year, but it’s arguably better in the fall with seasonal fresh apples, red wine, and brandy.
4. BLOODY MARY
Whether your day calls for a hair of the dog or you’re ready for a boozy brunch, this beverage packs a lot of punch.
5. PUMPKIN ALE
Sundays are for football and let’s face it, every good tailgate or viewing party comes with beer. We’re feeling festive this fall and going for these fun pumpkin-infused brews.
Do the Detox Thing…
1. CHLOROPHYLL WATER
Part of Lindsey’s detox routine includes a daily dose of chlorophyll water. Benefits include increased blood oxygenation, liver detox, and loads of hydration.
2. PEACH SMOOTHIE WITH COCONUT BUTTER
Gwen’s giving her morning smoothie routine some "oomph" with fresh peaches (she froze extras to enjoy throughout the fall) and a spoonful of Coconut Butter.
3. CINNAMON DETOX WATER
Lindsey’s making her own cinnamon detox water. The cinnamon acts to improve insulin secretion, stabilizes blood sugar levels, and increases the glucose metabolism. Just fill a glass with water and add honey, some sliced apples, a ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, and you’re off to the fat burning races.
4. SPARKLING DRINK WITH BITTERS
Gwen’s go-to dinner drink includes sparkling water, lime juice, a lime wedge, and great quality bitters. She loves the selection of yummy flavors in this recipe from Cecil and Merl.
5. BRAIN OCTANE OIL
A longtime fan of drinking warm water and lime first thing in the morning, Gwen just gave her beverage a boost by adding this coconut-based oil.
