In 2004, Matthew Malin opened MALIN+GOETZ with his partner Andrew Goetz in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood, focusing on the needs of men and women with sensitive skin. Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz waited on each customer themselves for the first three years and still live in Chelsea around the corner from the store, similar to chemists 100 years ago. Today, there are six MALIN+GOETZ locations in the U.S. and you can find their products at retailers like Barneys New York and Bloomingdale’s.
As longtime fans (and friends) of MALIN+GOETZ, we were excited when Matthew agreed to give us the scoop what laundry day looks like at his home in Upstate New York.
My most laundered item is…
Undies.
My favorite laundry tip or trick is…
Not allowing the laundry to pile up and washing throughout the week.
