No shade to sunnies and eyeglasses, but they get smudge-y and grimy fast. The bright side? Cleaning them involves only two steps when you’ve got the right solutions. We’re shedding light on our technique here:
Step 1: FYI, you don’t need a separate lens cleaner—our versatile Glass & Mirror Cleaner does the trick. Spritz some over a soft cloth like our Lint-Free Cleaning Cloths, then gently massage over the lenses, making sure to get the front, back, and crevices where the lenses meet the frames. Don’t use a paper towel or tissues here, as paper towels’ rough fibers can scratch the lenses; tissues will leave behind a linty film.
Step 2: Grab a new cloth or saturate an unused area of the one you used in step 1 with our Surface Cleaner and wipe down your glasses’ frames, including the arms. Because they sit on your face and touch your hair and scalp, dead skin cells, bacteria, and oils buildup on them and can lead to breakouts. It’s a good idea to clean them 3-4 days a week, at minimum.
