On Upholstery, Rugs & Carpets
Prep & Test Your Solution
Combine 1/2 cup of Scented Vinegar with 2 cups of water in a spray bottle. Perform a test with the solution on an inconspicuous portion of the upholstery. If the solution causes more spotting, try using plain distilled water (omit the Scented Vinegar) and test again.
For carpets & rugs you can alternatively try using a fabric steamer. Add Ironing Water to the steamer, then hover the steamer above the mark for a minute or two on its lowest setting, then blot with a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth to remove moisture. Repeat as necessary.
Treat
Next, spray the stain from at least 6 inches away. Begin at the outer edge of the spot, and work in circles, moving toward the center. Use a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth to blot the stain as you’re spraying. Continue the process until the spots are gone.
Dry
Use a fan or hair dryer to quicken the drying process.
