Tackle dingy whites and yellowing stains with our powerful products that help fight build up and preserve white items. Follow these steps to ensure your whites are shining bright all season long.
Step 1: Sort It Out
Sort laundry before washing, separating your white tees from the rest of your t-shirts. Beware of colorful items that may sneak in your load, such as a stray sock!
Step 2: Pretreat Stains
For food and armpit stains, pre-treat with our Stain Solution and one capful of our All-Purpose Bleach Alternative*. Mix the solution to create a paste. Use our Stain Brush or your finger to scrub the paste. For oil-based stains, use the Wash & Stain Bar.
*All-Purpose Bleach Alternative cannot be used on silk or woolens
Step 3: Soak, Soak, Soak
Presoaking is the most important step in achieving your goal of ultra-bright whites. Create a bath of hot water and one capful All-Purpose Bleach Alternative and fully submerge the item. Allow it to soak for at least 30 minutes or until satisfied. This method is suitable for durable fabrics such as cotton, linen, and denim.
Step 4: Handwash or Machine Wash
To handwash, fill a Wash Tub Basin or sink with hot water to help activate the whitening agents. Add a capful of All-Purpose Bleach Alternative for extra whitening power along with our Whites Detergent for cotton tees and agitate the water to dissolve the detergent. Add in a capful of our Fabric Conditioner to soften fabrics, decrease drying time, reduces wrinkles to ease ironing while eliminating static cling.
To machine wash, wash with hot water with an extra rinse spin cycle. Add in the appropriate amount of Whites Detergent depending on the load size and a capful of All-Purpose Bleach Alternative. Be sure to only wash with other white items to avoid dye transfers.
Step 5: Hang High to Dry
Utilize the summer sun and line dry items outside if possible. Sunlight acts as a natural, energy-saving whitener.
