We might not realize it, but we need our toasters! For all that a toaster helps prep on any given morning, it’s bound to build up a crummy mess. Read on for our easy how-to guide to keep toasters in tip-top shape and make the best of your mornings.
How-To | Clean the Toaster
Step 1: Cool Down
First, unplug your toaster and make sure it has cooled down from any prior use.
Step 2: No More Crumbs
Pull out the crumb tray from under the toaster over a garbage can or sink to discard any crumbs and burnt pieces. If your toaster doesn’t have a removable crumb tray you can turn it upside down and shake out the loose crumbs.
Step 3: Clean
Dampen a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth with Scented Vinegar and wipe the crumb tray clean. To clean the exterior and knobs of the toaster, dampen a Lint-Free Cloth with Surface Cleaner and remove any dirt and grime.
