Eco-Friendly Cleaning Of Faucets And Fixtures

The lights and decorations are sparkling - so should be your faucets and fixtures. Cleaning these items doesn't have to cut into your celebration time when you use our quick tips and eco-friendly Home Cleaning Collection. Four products are all you'll need!





 

CAST ACRYLIC OR CAST IRON





  • How to Clean: Remove and discard food from the sink and strainer. Wash with Dish Detergent and hot water after each use.


  • Drain and Disposal Maintenance: For a natural drain cleaner, mix 1 cup of boiling Scented Vinegar with a 1/4 cup of All-Purpose Bleach Alternative. Pour into the drain and let sit for 5 minutes—rinse with hot water.




Cautions: Steel wool brushes and pads can be damaging. Avoid using ammonia and harsh toxic cleaners.



 

CHROME                             





  • How to Clean: To remove hard water stains and rust, spray faucets and showerheads with the Surface Cleaner and wipe dry. To remove rust or hard-water deposits, scrub with a solution of Scented Vinegar and water. Rinse well and wipe dry.




Cautions: Do not use abrasive scrubs or pads.  Avoid ammonia, chlorine bleach and other strong chemicals.  Be sure to keep dry after use.



 

COPPER
