How to Remove Pet Urine—for Good!

Nix the Urine Mess

Pet stain odors can be particularly persistent in clothing and upholstery. If you have questions about the particular item you are trying to clean, feel free to call or email us. In the meantime, here is a basic run through on how to remove pet urine stains and odors.

Removing Pet Urine

For carpets and upholstery, you will first want to apply Stain Solution directly to the area and gently work it into the fabric with a Stain Brush. The enzymes in the Stain Solution will immediately begin working on both the stain and odor. Remove the excess suds with a damp, lint-free cloth such as the Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth. If the stain or odor remains, you may need to repeat the above steps another time or two. When treating cotton or linen clothing, apply Stain Solution and All-Purpose Bleach Alternative directly to the stain and gently work into the fabric. Pour hot water onto the solution for added cleaning power. Follow by soaking in a bath of hot water 30 minutes, then wash normally. Don’t use the dryer until the stain is lifted.
