The Best Way To Clean Your Dishwasher

Exterior: Frequently clean the exterior to remove dust, grease, and fingerprints. Spray with Surface Cleaner and wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

Interior Parts: Remove detachable interior parts, like the drain trap basket, and clean in the sink with hot water and dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry before replacing inside the machine.

Clean monthly to help combat odors. With the dishwasher empty; run a long, hot water cycle with 1/4 a cup of plain white vinegar.

If you have hard water, it's best to run a vinegar cycle twice a month. If possible, allow to air dry by leaving the door open overnight or when no one is home.
