Cloudy, spotty glassware? If you live in an area with hard water, built-up limescale can lend glasses a blurry look. Not to worry - clearer days are ahead with these crystal clear steps that work on everything from water glasses and wine and cocktail glasses to carafes. YOUR TOOLKIT: Dish Detergent, Glass & Crystal Cleaning Brush, Scented Vinegar, All-Purpose Bleach Alternative, Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth
Step 1: Pre-Rinse
Start with giving glasses a pre-rinse with warm water.
Step 2: Clean Like This
Squirt some Dish Detergent on to our Glass & Crystal Cleaning Brush or directly into the glass. Gently swirl the brush inside the glass. For extra dirty glasses, let the soap sit for a few minutes before rinsing. If you are washing glassware in your dishwasher, add Scented Vinegar to the rinse aid dispenser to prevent water spots.
Step 3: Rinse
Wash away excess soap with warm water.
Step 4: Air Dry
Turn your clean glasses over on a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth to prevent water stains on countertops and allow to air dry for a few minutes.
Step 5: Towel Dry
Gently buff glasses with a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth to absorb excess moisture while preventing scratches.
CLEANING CARAFES
For tricky serving flasks with hard-to-reach areas like wine carafes, pour hot water into the flask and add 1 capful of All-Purpose Bleach Alternative. Let sit for one hour and cheers!
