ERASE PET ACCIDENTS IN SECONDS

Accidents happen! Whether your pet is mid-training or just didn’t make it out in time, here’s how to remove pet accident stains and odors on rugs, carpets, upholstery and other fabrics.

 YOUR TOOLKIT:

Pet Messes Kit, Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth, All-Purpose Bleach Alternative, Wash & Stain Bar

Stop The Smell

Remove and discard any hardened messes, then blot up as much liquid as you can using a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth

Combine 1 cup of Scented Vinegar with 1 cup of lukewarm water in a spray bottle. Spray affected area generously and let sit for 10-15 minutes. If necessary, use the Stain Brush to work the solution in. Our Scented Vinegar solution will help neutralize the uric acid in urine that’s responsible for odors and fading of fabric. After 10-15 minutes, be sure to blot well with warm water and a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth.

Treat The Stain

Once you’ve neutralized the uric acid, you’ll need to clean the area. Wet a Wash & Stain Bar and work into the stain. Once it has lifted, wet a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth with warm water and thoroughly remove excess soap. Dry the area with a dry portion of the cloth until completely dry to avoid water marks later on.

Revive

To further freshen, once the area is dry, generously sprinkle All-Purpose Bleach Alternative on top and let sit for 10-15 minutes before vacuuming up the granules.

If the surface is hard (wood, tile, etc.) dilute 1/2 cup of All-Purpose Bleach Alternative with a gallon of water. Then, mop the floor with the solution. The bleach formula will work to disinfect the area. Allow to dry completely.

KEEP KITTY LITTER FRESH

No one loves that kitty litter smell – no one! This quick fix will provide some relief for your sniffer.

YOUR TOOLKIT:

A Small Bowl, Scented Vinegar, All-Purpose Bleach Alternative, All-Purpose Cleaning Concentrate, Scrub Brush, Home Spray

Get To The Root Of The Odor

To keep that cat litter smell at bay, fill a bowl with 1 cup of Scented Vinegar, and place it near the kitty litter. Be sure it’s out of reach of your cat! This natural deodorizer absorbs unsavory odors, and the clean smell of our No. 247 fragrance masks that vinegar smell. Replace bowl as needed, or every few days.

You should also clean the cat litter container as needed with a solution of hot water, a couple of capfuls of All-Purpose Bleach Alternative and All-Purpose Cleaning Concentrate. Wipe down with a Scrub Brush.

Clear The Air

To further freshen smells, spray Home Spray around the area daily.

SOLVE SICK SITUATIONS

When your pets’ stomachs turn, a few steps will help you get in the clear.

YOUR TOOLKIT:

Pet Messes Kit, Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth, All-Purpose Bleach Alternative, Scrub Brush

Throw Away Excess

Pick up any substantial pieces and throw them away. If you're working on a hard surface, use paper towels. If working on carpet, use Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth so you don't leave behind a residue.

Blot the area with a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth (or paper towels) to absorb as much of the moisture as possible.

Deodorize & Destain

Mix 1 cup of Scented Vinegar with 1 cup of lukewarm water in a spray bottle. Spray the affected area generously, and let sit for 10-15 minutes. If necessary, use the Stain Brush or Scrub Brush to work the solution in. The Scented Vinegar acts as a natural deodorizer and will remove the scent while lifting the stain.

To treat any stains that remain, apply Stain Solution and work into the area using the Scrub Brush or Stain Brush. Let sit for 5 minutes. Then, wet a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth with warm water and blot the area. Continue to repeat until the stain is no longer visible.

If working on carpet, cover the affected area with All-Purpose Bleach Alternative. The beads will further absorb the moisture and deodorize the floor, removing odors at the source. Allow the All-Purpose Bleach Alternative to sit for 15-20 minutes. Then vacuum. If the surface is hard (wood, tile, etc.) dilute 1/2 cupAll-Purpose Bleach Alternative with a gallon of water. Then, mop the floor with the solution. The bleach formula will further disinfect the area. Allow to dry or dry using a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth.

FRESHEN SMELLY SURFACES & REMOVE SHEDDING

When your pet’s signature smell takes up permanent residence in your carpets, turn to this easy, 15 minute solution that also works on pet beds and sofas.

YOUR TOOLKIT:

All-Purpose Bleach Alternative, Pet & Lint Brush, Fabric Fresh Classic

Apply This Product

To quickly and easily deodorize, sprinkle All-Purpose Bleach Alternative liberally across your carpet, rug, or upholstery. It’s free of chlorine and formulated with plant-derived ingredients, so it’s gentle on pets and your surfaces.

Vacuum

Let the granules sit for at least 10 minutes before vacuuming them up. For upholstery, use your vacuum’s smallest attachment. As a follow up, you can steam the surface to reduce odors, allergens like mite and dander, and bacteria.

Remove Pet Fur

Brush the Pet & Lint Brush in one direction over fabrics (this works on clothing too!) and furnishings to remove lint, fuzz, and pet hair. The natural rubber is charged by friction, which attracts hair, lint, and dust like a magnet. Remove fur and lint after each use.

Spritz

Spray down surfaces regularly with Fabric Fresh Classic to whisk away odors and infuse all fabric types with a clean laundry scent.
