When greasy grub or cheesy catastrophes make a play on your lucky jersey or pants, the resulting mess means upset. Sack that stain with these easy steps.

Gather These Tools:

Stain Solution, Wash & Stain Bar, All-Purpose Bleach Alternative

Tackle the Stain

Our Wash & Stain Bar is ideal for removing grease-based stains like dip, grease, and dressing. Create a lather and gently work it into the material. Make sure to use warm water. Our Stain Solution is perfect for color-rich tannin stains like wings, salsa, and sauce. Apply the solution directly to the stain and work in with the Stain Brush or a finger. For stubborn stains, add All-Purpose Bleach Alternative to the Stain Solution and create a paste.

Soak It In

Soak your item in a basin filled with hot water. For old, stubborn, or large stains, add a capful of our All-Purpose Bleach Alternative to the basin. If working with carpet or upholstery, wet a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth in warm water and gently blot the affected area to remove all of the suds. Reapply or repeat as needed: If the stain is not completely gone, repeat this process until satisfied.

Wash It Out

Launder the item according to the regular washing instructions.

We'll Cheers to That

Treat It

Apply Stain Solution directly to the affected area. Then sprinkle All-Purpose Bleach Alternative on the Stain Solution to create a powerful paste. Work the solution into the fabric using your finger or the Stain Brush.

Work It with Water

For added cleaning power, pour boiling water from a kettle onto the affected area. (Pour from a safe height so the water won't splash on you.) The force of the pouring water helps to do the work. You can also use hot water from a faucet set to its highest water pressure output.

Soak It!

Soak the item in a basin filled with hot water and 1 capful of All-Purpose Bleach Alternative for up to 30 minutes. Reapply or repeat as needed.

Give It a Wash

Wash according to our instructions with The Laundress detergent.

Gather These Tools:

Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth, Wash & Stain Bar, Scented Vinegar, Spray Bottle, All-Purpose Bleach Alternative

Blot It

Using a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth, soak up as much of the spill as possible by blotting gently.

Spray It

Mix 1 cup Scented Vinegar with 1 cup of lukewarm water in a spray bottle. Spray the affected area generously and let sit for 10-15 minutes. This step will remove odors commonly left behind by beverage spills. Be sure to follow this step with a good rinse using hot water and a cloth to soak up the remaining vinegar.

Lather It

Wet a Wash & Stain Bar with warm water and gently work into a lather. Apply directly to the affected area by rubbing gently to remove the stain. Once the stain is lifted, wet a Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth in warm water and dampen the area to remove the soap suds completely. Dry the area with a clean portion of the Lint-Free Cleaning Cloth until completely dry to avoid water marks later on.

Sprinkle It

Optionally, to further freshen carpet, generously sprinkle All-Purpose Cleaning Concentrate on the area and let sit for 10-15 minutes before vacuuming up the granules.
