Removing Berry Stains

Strawberries are red, blueberries are blue, these are summer's sweetest treats... just to name a few! Whether berry picking with the family or enjoying a morning smoothie, this colorful snack can lead to serious stains. Enter The Laundress stain removers to easily and effectively remove fruity messes.

GATHER THESE TOOLS: All-Purpose Bleach Alternative, Stain Solution, Stain Brush

On Cotton, Linen & Durable Synthetics

Step 1:

Apply Stain Solution directly to the berry stain. Then, sprinkle All-Purpose Bleach Alternative on the Stain Solution to create a powerful paste. Work the solution into the fabric using your finger or our Stain Brush

Step 2:

For added cleaning power, pour boiling water from a kettle onto the affected area. (Pour from a safe height so the water won't splash on you.) The force of the pouring water helps to do the work. You can also use hot water from a faucet set to its highest water pressure output.

Step 3:

Soak the item in a basin filled with hot water and 1 capful of All-Purpose Bleach Alternative for up to 30 minutes. If the stain is not completely gone, repeat this process until satisfied.

Step 4:

Wash according to our instructions with your favorite The Laundress detergent.

On Silk, Silk Blends, Silk-Like & Delicate Synthetics OR Wool, Cashmere, Wool Blends, & Wool-Like Synthetics

Follow the same steps listed above, but exclude the use of All-Purpose Bleach Alternative (it should not be used on silks or woolens) and use cool water for pretreating and presoaking. When presoaking, be sure to never let a silk or woolen item soak for longer than 30 minutes.
